Building Energy Asset Score
Introduction to Building Energy Asset Score
This presentation on October 4th 2018, 1-2pm Central will introduce US DOE’s Building Energy Asset Score tool. Building Energy Asset Score is a web based tool that rates the as-design energy efficiency of a building through a whole building energy simulation using OpenStudio/EnergyPlus. This asset rating is useful for evaluating the as-designed efficiency of a building which provides significant insights when compared against an operational rating like a Portfolio Manager score. Supriya will also introduce some of the other capabilities of Asset Score tool, including Asset Score Preview and Audit Template Tool and discuss how some cities and states are using these capabilities.
